Thomas Baur
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Thomas Baur has been involved in the entertainment industry since as far back as 1979 – initially through music. He founded and managed the Raubbau recording studio and Alster music publishing house, and then the Debüt publishing house for music magazines in 1984.

From the mid-1980s on, he managed the “HÖRZU Schallplatte” division for the Axel Springer publishing house and helped the music label reach new heights.

In 1987, Baur founded the DTP wholesale company and focused on the sale of desktop publishing products in his position as Managing Director. He increased his involvement in the software industry in 1995 by founding DTP Neue Medien GmbH, into which he incorporated the label HÖRZU Software. Since then, Baur has been focusing his commercial activities on the development, marketing and distribution of software products.

In 1999 he founded dtp entertainment AG, which he has since headed as Chief Executive Officer.





Markus Windelen
Senior Executive (COO)

Markus Windelen has been working in the games industry for over 12 years. He was Head of Product Acquisition at Bomico/Infogrames Deutschland before transferring to its French parent company in Lyon in 1999 to work as Director of Production and Marketing for the publishing arm of Atari Europe.

From 2002 to 2005, Windelen was based in Australia to serve as VP of Production at Atari Melbourne House. He returned to Germany last year and worked most recently as Head of 3rd Party & Licensing at Atari Germany. In this position, he worked on product acquisitions for Atari Europe and on the expansion of the publisher's business relations into Russia.









Steffen Hippe
Senior Executive Sales & Marketing GSA (CSO)

Steffen Hippe has held various sales positions in the multimedia industry for over 16 years. He began his career as OEM Sales Manager with Multimedia Distribution GmbH. Since 1995 he has been employed in the dtp group of companies, beginning as Key Account Manager at dtp Neue Medien GmbH , before being promoted to Sales Manager in 1996. When dtp entertainment AG was founded in 2002, he assumed the post of Sales Director and has managed the company’s sales activities ever since.

In July 2008 Hippe was appointed to the board of dtp entertainment AG. As Senior Executive for Sales & Marketing GSA, he is responsible for all sales and marketing activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.








Kai-Uwe Schmidt
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Following the successful completion of his Master in business administration in 1996, Kai-Uwe Schmidt initially supported a joint venture project with Linde AG during a stay in Manila, Philippines and Hong Kong, China. During his four years at PricewaterhouseCoopers he gained his professional know-how and worked as an auditing manager until 2000. At the same time he successfully completed his tax consultant exam.

From 2000 to 2008 Kai-Uwe Schmidt experienced the start-up period of a stock listed company (QSC AG, formerly Broadnet AG) as well as the merger process at the end of the life cycle of Broadnet, functioning as its Finance Director. In the beginning of 2008 he continued carrying out the same occupation at Vivanco Gruppe AG where he was able to work on a great variety of working capital, commercial and corporate legal matters relating to the international subsidiaries.

Associated with his broad range of experiences Schmidt supports dtp entertainment AG since September 2009. As the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) he is responsible for Finance, Personnel and Administration.
